Introduction

Everything started with some conversations between Erin and me about a dream of organizing Retreats to offer  people an environment to rest, reset and to go back to their routine with new habits.

We are offering a retreat where you will be invited to follow a supported route to a slower, more conscious pace of being. Using methods based in physical movement, one can directly address the core self. Clean air, highest quality fresh food, spiritually rich environment and beautiful natural surroundings all contribute to this essential growth. Our carefully selected location offers so much more with its long history of monastic tradition.

Everyone on this retreat is supported by the team of experienced practitioners, specialists in Pilates, massage, nutrition and culinary excellence. We have developed a programme to guide you into the slow lane, where your body can take the lead through a progression of Pilates classes, leading to broader perspectives of the inner and outer worlds. This is a practice based on precise body alignment to gain balanced strength and flexibility.

We have arranged this offering to occur in April and September to coincide with the natural beauty of this rural location during these vernal and autumnal seasons: the vibrant lavender of spring or gentle colours of autumn. By immersing ourselves in this place, we will slow the busy mind by developing breathing and body movement, becoming mindfully aware of all your senses. Here there will be the held space to clear your thoughts, gain clarity of your needs and set intentions for your life.
